Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a coaching and matchday experience of the highest quality, providing enjoyment and fun along the way.
We currently have 7 teams ranging from U/7 through to U/16, with a membership of over 100 players and are constantly on the look out for more players to join us. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club where players can build lasting friendships, both on and off the pitch. Our Coaching Team
We aim to have an FA Level 1 qualified coach at every training session and matchday and all coaches and assistants have enhanced DBS clearance. Each age group also has an FA qualified first aider available.
Child welfare and safeguarding are at the forefront of everything we do, and we have two Club Welfare Officers on our team dedicated to implementing and developing our child protection policies. For further information on safeguarding and how to raise a concern, please see our safeguarding page.
Coaching & Match Days
Our coaching sessions and home games are provided in the Freshwater area, with some indoor winter training taking place further afield.
Training for younger teams usually takes place once per week, with older teams often training more often. For information on training times and venues, please see your relevant team page.
Home games take place at two different venues, depending on age group. Please see your relevant team page for more information.
All our teams play in the Isle of Wight Sunday Youth League, and many are active in summer tournaments and beach soccer competitions as well, adding to the playing time and enjoyment on offer.
We also hold our Annual Club Trophy Fun Day event in June, to recognise the achievements of all our players.

Club History
Founded in 1976, West Wight Youth Football Club has been providing football for children in the West Wight for over 40 years. During that time, many of our players have gone on to play for the West Wight senior team and other Island League teams, with one or two going on to play at academy level and beyond.
